Cross Benchlation
Concrete forming plywood, or “Compane,” is used for concrete casting and discarded after several uses. Due to glue adhesion, conventional recycling is difficult, but it remains usable as a surface material. This proposal explores its reuse while retaining its original form. The standard “Shiroku-ban” (900×1800mm) size is close to the human scale. Simple divisions of these panels interlock to form chairs, tables, and benches, creating flexible spaces that gently define boundaries while maintaining connections between people.
