The National Taiwan Museum holds one of the world’s key Asian puppetry collections, with 15,000+ pieces from Taiwan, Southeast and South Asia—making it a vital keeper of these diverse traditions. Framed by three themes—Unlocking the Puppet Treasure Chest, Puppets of a Thousand Faces, and The Puppetry Kaleidoscope—the show highlights the skill, meaning, and cultural range of Asian puppetry. The interactive design blends in with quiet ease; rather than stand out, it lets tech support tradition, keeping the show’s calm and thoughtful tone.
